St Paul’s Bay

Currently, St. Paul’s Bay Group, BRA, has approximately 200 members.

Our Coffee Morning takes place on the first Friday of the month at the Ta’ Fra Ben, Qawra, meeting at 10:00am for 10:30am. We have various activities, speakers, quizzes or other entertainment. Entrance fee for members and guests €4.00. This entitles you to refreshments and the chance to win a free raffle prize. We also run a raffle with plenty of prizes to help raise funds for the Group.

We hold Games at The Grapevine Bar, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, 6.45pm for 7pm. We organise Pool and Darts Tournaments or just come along for a chat with other members.

We don’t hold Coffee Mornings in July, August and September when temperatures are at their highest and, of course, many members go off on their travels. However, Games Nights continue throughout the summer, although during these three months there are no organised tournaments; Supper Clubs are still available.

We have a Social Secretary who organises outings and lunches.  Our ‘Supper Club’ usually meets once a month where we enjoy good food at one of the many excellent restaurants in the local area.

We have our own extensive library situated at Olive Court, Triq il-Bahhara, Qawra. This is open all year round, Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am to 12:00 noon, where you can borrow books and DVDs for 40c each.

If you would like further information regarding the Group, this is available at our library, or from the latest issue of our newsletter.
